Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board

The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) was established on 1 November 1973, with the approval of the Union Cabinet, as an independent recruitment agency.

The Government of India approved the restructuring of the Board in its Union Cabinet meeting held on 1 August 2018. The decision was conveyed through Notification No. 25/CM/2018(i) dated 6 August 2018 and was subsequently published in the Gazette of India on 9 August 2018.
